Alicia’s professional journey has been centered right here in San Francisco, specifically in its universities. She earned an MA at University of San Francisco, and as an undergrad, volunteered as an event coordinator for the Kinesiology Student Association at San Francisco State University. Working a variety of sport and tech events—all highly demanding in terms of logistics, energy level and details—Alicia honed her event-planning skills and further confirmed her passion for event production. Her love for the industry combined with her intuitive understanding of how it all works keeps Alicia energized and clients amazed.
Favorite Metro Event: “Camp Pier 35,” absolutely. This glamping gala is a hands-down favorite among the Metro Events team. Guests and forty Bay Area vendors were all “happy campers,” hanging out and exploring the outdoors-themed spaces of the historic pier.
When not at the piers, you can find Alicia… looking for a new spot to eat—sushi in particular. In fact, Alicia’s goal is to try every sushi spot in San Francisco. She also enjoys being active, whether taking a yoga class in Pacifica or a hike by the beach. Alicia recently stepped it up a notch, participating in the Rodeo Valley Trial Half Marathon.
